You come first
We believe that each person is an individual with their own unique interests, goals and dreams.
Our vision is a world where people with disabilities have access to extraordinary, fulfilling and adventurous life experiences.
Our mission is to provide extraordinary person-centred disability support that empowers each person to try new experiences, grow through challenge and enjoy life.
Our focus is on tailoring our support to each person and to making each person’s dreams a reality.
We founded At Everybody’s House in 2019 to provide flexible and adventurous individualised support to people with disabilities and their families. After working for years in services that provided risk-averse group support, we decided there had to be a better way.
Dignity of risk, fun and capacity building are at the core of everything we do. Want to maintain your health and wellbeing, let’s build in time to go for a stroll through the bush or play footy at the beach. Want to develop your independent living skills, let’s go shopping for ingredients and cook up an amazing feast together. Want to improve your social connections, let’s make friends with the neighbours so that you have social connections in your own community.
We meet each person where they are at. For some people, this means going to a playground and climbing to the highest slippery slide. For other people, it means renting a boat and driving it out on a lake.
The core of everything we do comes back to our respect for each person as an individual who has their own interests, strengths and goals.
